Innovation Gippsland launch

The launch of Innovation Gippsland and the Victorian state launch of the Australian Innovation Festival was held on Thursday May 1st at Kiel Industries in Morwell. It is the first time that a state launch has been held in a regional area and recognises Gippsland’s status as the largest regional festival in Australia.Â

Upcoming events

The Innovation Gippsland program is filled with events from a variety of industries - everything from ‘Making $ From Small Farms’ to Speed Networking and one of the region’s first carbon-neutral events, Workwise East Gippsland TAFE Awards 08. The re-awakening of concern about sustainability and global warming is reflected in this year’s program, with the ‘Farming in a Changing Climate’ in Warragul on May 9th and the ‘Gippsland Sustainability Festival’ in Morwell on May 9th and 10th. If you want to find out more about how our region’s climate will change and how to respond to it, make the time to attend these events. More details at www.innovationgippsland.com.Â
